TRAVELLING CLASSROOM

Why go on a “Travelling Classroom” programme?

  • Learning English on Safari with us enables you to see much more of South Africa than would be possible on any other 1-week English programme
  • You speak English for up to 16 hours a day
  • A trainer is with you all the time to encourge you to talk, correct any mistakes in grammar or pronunciation - and give you new, useful vocabulary
  • You use a lot of the language you learn immediately, in a “real-life” environment rather than just in a classroom with a teacher
  • You read and write about and discuss the places we visit, the animals we see and some of the people we meet, so you develop your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
  • Brochures, guide books, the safari guides and guest house owners all give you valuable information – all in English!
  • You have so much fun while you learn, it doesn’t feel like hard work!

Travel along the famous Garden Route to Addo Elephant Park and Schotia Private Lion Reserve near Port Elizabeth. Spend time with the elephants – we sometimes see up to 30 at one time including babies.  Get close to the lions on a night-drive – maybe you will see them hunting.

Other highlights include

  • seeing whales and dolphins on a boat trip at Plettenberg Bay
  • walking through the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park to Storm’s River
  • enjoying a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon
  • watching buffalo, giraffe, rhino, zebra, antelope and many other buck
  • relaxing on a beach – or perhaps having a swim in the (relatively!) warm Indian Ocean
Optional activities include
  • doing the highest commercial bungy jump in the world – only for the brave!!
  • swinging through the forest 30 metres above the ground on the Canopy Tour
  • riding a horse along a beach and perhaps swimming with it in the sea afterwards!

This programme is unique – only offered by inlingua Cape Town – and something our clients have been enjoying for years.
